    By accessing and using the services provided by I'm the Geek ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

    2. Description of Services

    I'm the Geek provides IT support, computer repair, network setup, and related technology services for homes and small businesses in Fairfield, CA and surrounding areas. The specific scope of work will be agreed upon before any service begins.

    3. Data Backup and Liability

    Prior to any service, it is your responsibility to back up all data, software, and files on your computer or devices.While we take every precaution to protect your data, I'm the Geek is not responsible for any loss, alteration, or corruption of data, software, or files that may occur during the repair or support process.

    4. Payment Terms

    Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We will provide an estimate before beginning work. If additional issues are discovered during the repair process that require extra time or parts, we will contact you for approval before proceeding.

    5. Warranty

    We stand behind our work. We offer a limited warranty on our labor for a period of 30 days from the date of service. This warranty covers only the specific issue addressed during the original service. It does not cover new issues, subsequent virus/malware infections, or hardware failures unrelated to our work. Parts provided by us may carry their own manufacturer warranties.

    6. Abandoned Equipment

    Equipment left with us for repair must be picked up within 30 days of notification that the repair is complete or an estimate is ready. Equipment abandoned for more than 60 days will become the property of I'm the Geek and may be recycled, sold, or disposed of to cover the cost of diagnostic or repair services.

    7. Limitation of Liability

    In no event shall I'm the Geek be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with our services, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

    8. Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
